FAQs

[hills_faq]
Do you sell single faces, or only networks? | Both. A network is a set of our faces booked as one, and it is the better buy when the objective is frequency on a route. A single face is sold on its own where that is what the campaign needs. Of the 0 faces on this site, 0 sit inside one of the 0 networks and the rest are sold individually.
Can I pick the exact faces? | Yes. Every face has its own page with its size, its direction of travel, the structure it stands on and where it is. Send us the list and we will tell you what is free in your window.
How far ahead do I need to book? | It depends on the road and the month. Sheikh Zayed Road in a peak window goes earlier than anything else we hold. Tell us the dates and we will tell you what is actually free rather than what is usual.
What is the shortest booking? | It depends on the structure. Screens can be taken for short runs; a printed face has a production cycle attached to it, so it is planned in longer blocks. Ask for the dates you want rather than assuming a minimum.
Do you work with agencies or only direct? | Both, and it helps to say which you are in the first message so the conversation starts in the right place.
What is the difference between a direct buy and a performance buy? | A direct buy is priced by the window: named faces, fixed dates, fixed rate. A performance buy is priced by what the window delivers, and the faces behind it are reviewed and changed while the campaign runs.
Is programmatic the same as a performance buy? | No. Programmatic is screen time bought by the hour through a platform you already use. A performance buy is our own inventory, planned and adjusted by us against an agreed outcome, and it includes printed faces that no platform sells.

[hills_faq]
How many advertising faces do you have? | 0. 0 of them are screens and 0 are printed, across 0 roads in Dubai.
Do you own the structures or resell somebody else’s? | We own them. Hills has been on these roads since 2003 and every face on this site is one we built, maintain and sell ourselves. That is why the traffic figure on a face page is our own count rather than a number from a rate card.
Where are they? | Sheikh Zayed Road carries the most, then Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the airport road and Al Khail, with the rest in old Dubai and out towards the festival city. The map shows every face we hold coordinates for, in position.
What is a network? | A set of our faces sold as one booking, chosen so that a driver on that route meets the brand several times rather than once. There are 0 of them.
What is a standalone site? | A face that is not inside any network and is sold on its own. It is counted in the 0 like everything else.
Do you have digital screens? | Yes, 0 of them. They are listed on their own page with their dimensions and what shares the loop.

[hills_band tone=”plain” title=”Production and artwork” lede=”Who makes it, who puts it up, and what you see before you commit.”]
[/hills_band]

[hills_faq]
Who produces and installs the print? | We do. The structures are ours and so is the crew that works on them, which is why the lead time we quote is one we control rather than one we are passing on.
What sizes do you print to? | There is no standard size. A bridge banner on Sheikh Zayed Road and a face on Al Khail are different structures and different widths, so every face carries its own dimensions in metres on its own page. Send us the list you are interested in and you will get the exact sizes for it.
Can I see my artwork on the site before I commit? | Yes. It is placed on a photograph of the actual face, taken from the road, so you are looking at the position a driver sees rather than a flat mock up.
Is there anything I cannot show? | Creative is submitted and cleared before it is printed, and the rules cover what may be shown and how claims are worded. It is normal and it is not slow when it is planned for, but it is not something to discover in the final week.

[hills_band tone=”tint” title=”Figures and reporting” lede=”Where the numbers come from, and what you can check.”]
[/hills_band]

[hills_faq]
Where do the traffic figures come from? | They are our own counts, recorded per face. Each face page shows the figure that face carries. Where we do not have a count for a face, the page shows nothing rather than showing an estimate.
What do I get as a report? | The same figures the site publishes, against the faces that ran. Nothing is reported that cannot be opened on this site and checked against the structure it came from.
Why does a face sometimes show no traffic figure? | Because we do not have a recorded count for it yet. We would rather leave it blank than fill it with a number nobody measured.

Open the answered questions, or ask us directly and somebody will reply the same working day.
